today i learnt how to animate using 3D max , amimation on 3Dmax is done by moving a key frame on a time line and then moving an object light or camera, almost every single thing you creat on 3D max can be animated. below is a simple video render i did of a basket ball bouncing and a camera moving.
I aplyed this texture to my ball to make it look like a basketball.
To improve my animation i would have a spot light to create shadows on the ball and i would also add a squeeze to my ball when it hits the ground this will make the animation look more realistic, by adding real world physics.
This is a blog to demonstrait my skill and ability as i progress through my BND course in Games Development.

Overview:
This is my final model. we where given an open criteria for this unit to create any type of transport we wanted, i decided to create a futuristic car inspired by lightning McQueen from the cars movie. I added wings to my car to add a futuristic element and also inserted a sky background onto a "plane" to simulate the car flying. I followed my planning when creating my car model and i am happy with the results, it looks very similar to my drawing in the plan and i think it looks good for my current skill on 3d max and the time i was given to plan and create the model.
Modeling:
To model my car i used my planning to help give me an insight into what my final model would look like this made modeling easier, to model i used a box and cloned it and used an "instance" this meant that i only had to model one side of my car. To add the spoiler i extruded the back of the car and for wheels i used a cylinder and extruded parts of the cylinder inwards to act as rims. For texturing i used a red colour for the main colour of the body , i then used white as a racing stripe. for the window i used a light blue colour and turned the opacity down slightly.
Reflection:
overall i am happy with my car and i believe it look very similar to my planning.
to improve my car i would like to have spent more time to texture my vehicle and adding lighting, as i spent most of my time modeling my car.
